He began his career with Firestone in England in 1964 and has held positions in many diverse parts of the company, including assignments in Hamilton, Ontario; Russellville, Ark.; LaVergne, Tenn.; Wilson, N.C.; and as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations for BFNT in Nashville, Tenn.
North Carolina based Firestone Fibers & Textiles (FSFT) manufactures nylon and polyester tire cord for Bridgestone Firestone tire plants and other non-tire product manufacturers, and manufacture other industrial fabrics and nylon resins.
BFS Diversified Products LLC (BFDP), based in Indianapolis, is a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc (BSAH). BFDP is responsible for BSAH's non-tire businesses, including building and industrial products, synthetic polymers, natural rubber, and fibers and textiles.
