Since its launch in 2002, many of the world's leading ready-to-wear, swimwear, intimate and workwear brands have turned to XLA to enhance the performance of their apparel. Designed by renowned architect Thierry Peltrault, the showroom was conceived as a practical yet visionary space that incorporates unique design, technological elements and a sleek, contemporary look and feel.
The showroom marks the next step in the evolution of Dow Fiber. Leveraging the scientific expertise and financial resources of The Dow Chemical Company, Dow Fiber Solutions has developed into a significant force in the global apparel industry. Over the last few years, Dow has made substantial investments in product and channel development, top industry talent and, most recently, in the construction of the showroom and the development of a new brand identity for XLA.
“Our worldwide growth, showroom and powerful new branding underscore our long-term commitment to the textile industry. Working with our partners, our goal is to deliver products that redefine consumers' expectations of what clothing can be, and to transform the economics of the textile industry value chain,” said Brad Miller, global commercial director for Dow Fiber Solutions. “We are fortunate to have The Dow Chemical Company behind us in our quest.”
The completed showroom is located in the World Apparel Center building at 1411 Broadway, on the 29th floor.
