Aksa plans to manufacture carbon fibre

Yalova-based leading acrylic fiber manufacturer, Aksa, revealed plans to begin production of carbon fiber in the near future.

Company with annual production capacity of 290,000 tons of acrylic fiber said that its knowledge and expertise in this business would prove to be a big help in this new venture.

The initial plant investment plan has already been approved and the company expects the current production line research to continue for next three months.

Later, once the machinery arrives the project will be initiated within next couple of years.
