Ironclad Performance Wear Corporation a leader in high-performance gloves and apparel announced the appointment of Reade Simonds as Director of Apparel. The new position will further strengthen Ironclad's management team as the Company continues to develop its performance work apparel line.
Mr. Simonds joins Ironclad with over 17 years of experience in the apparel industry. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Simonds was Sr. Product Line Manager at Under Armour Inc where he was responsible for business planning, merchandising, and marketing the company's outdoor, military/tactical and outerwear products to catalog and retail customers.
In 2006, he was the recipient of a Polartec APEX Award as a designer of the Special Forces Cold Weather Clothing Kit produced by Natick Labs, the U.S. Army Soldier and Biological-Chemical Command's Soldier Systems Center. Prior to working for Under Armour, Mr. Simonds held senior product manager positions with L.L. Bean Inc and adidas AG.
