The Dow Chemical Company announced that it intends to voluntarily withdraw its securities from listing on the NYSE Arca Inc, formerly known as the Pacific Stock Exchange.
The Company's securities will continue to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
Dow's decision follows the recent merger of NYSE Group with Archipelago Holdings, the parent company of NYSE Arca, and will eliminate duplicative administrative requirements associated with a listing on both exchanges.
NYSE Arca will continue trading Dow securities on an unlisted trading privilege basis.
