Jernigan Group appoints Carole Carter as SVP

The Jernigan Group LLC, has named Carole Carter, the well-known futures and options broker, as Senior Vice President (SVP).

In the newly created position, Ms. Carter will oversee the trading operations of the Jernigan Group and will act as a primary liaison with current and future clients. She was most recently Vice President of the Jernigan Group, a position recently filled by Andy Ryan.

In her position, Ms. Carter will interact directly with all Jernigan Group clients in terms of executing trades and rendering guidance useful for successful trading.

By turning the day-to-day trading desk and related operations over to Ms. Carter, company founder and CEO Ed Jernigan will be able to focus his time, talents and energy toward other facets of the company's business including strategic market analysis, expansion of company activities in Asia and the establishment of trading teams in other agricultural commodities.

Ms. Carter has an extensive background in futures and options having worked with the Jernigan Group for more than 15 years. She actively trades for many corporate clients around the world.
