Reliance Retail procures entire floor of Axis

Reliance Retail purchased built-up area of 62,000 square feet on the first floor of the Axis, a mall situated in Rajarhat.
Developed by Bengal Peerless Housing Development Co Ltd (BPHDCL), the malls is spread over the area of 500,000 square feet.
The store, which is expected to open by May 2008 will stock apparel, cosmetics, leather goods, gems and jewellery etc.
Sources informed that Reliance has purchased space for 20 to 25 crores instead of taking it on rent.
Axis
is situated near Salt Lake were many upper and middle-income groups are concentrated.
