Greenwood Mills plans to sack 160 workers from textile plant

Due to less amount of order for fabrics from the US military, Greenwood Mills plans to dismiss 160 employees by February, official sources inform.
Only 70 workers will be left in the company's Matthews plant after this layout. Loss of business has led to such massive layout.
In 2001,
Greenwood Mills
unwaged 100 workers from the Matthews plant and closed two of its plants.
