Big's Bedrooms launches Mary-Kate and Ashley signature collection

Bedrooms, the bedroom superstore introduced the furniture collection from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (mary-kateandashley), a signature product-line designed for girls ages four to 18.
The Olsens, the popular twins who appeared on the hit television show, Full House, have established a multi-billion dollar business that includes starring in television and movies, creating a line of beauty supplies and designing furniture and clothing.
Their furniture line is available in select stores throughout the United States, and Big's Bedrooms is the only retail outlet in Westchester and Bergen counties that carries the collection. According to the manufacturer's website, the twins made their foray into furniture design to encourage girls to “create your own bedroom style, just like we did.”
Customized design elements add to the character of the 20-piece furniture collection, which includes beds, dressers, chests, mirrors and night stands. The collections – City Chic and Country Style – incorporate unique features, including a panel twin bed with trundle, a sleigh bed headboard and corner molding detail.
Young designers have a choice of 19 finishes for their bedroom sets, which are made of solid birch and high-quality birch veneer. Finish options include a variety of neutral woods: Celery; Ebony; rubbed Sand dune; un-rubbed Antique white; Ladybug; Weathered denim and more.
Ron Cooper, president of Big's Bedrooms, said that the addition of the mary-kateandashley collection was based on his commitment to quality, the line's versatility and safety. Some of the safety benefits include rounded top corners and sliding roller guides to keep drawers in place.
