In a meeting held recently, President of Vinatex Le Quoc An revealed that by 2008 all textile and apparel units under Vinatex will be totally equitized with no share of Government in the same, sources informed.
Currently, 15 companies are under stage of equitization and remaining eight units will be equitized by 2008.
This concrete step is taken to increase production scale and give tough competition to ASEAN region.
After equitization, Vinatex would be holding company and new units would act as subsidiary company.
