Currently, Vietnam Textile and Apparel Group (Vinatex) is searching locations for building four supermarkets, to sell high quality textile and apparel goods supplied by its member companies.
Vinatex with this new development trend is trying to make its presence felt in the local market.
In 2007, Vinatex plans for expansion in both retail and wholesale supermarket network, in order to strengthen its position before the strong participation of big foreign groups into the field.
According to a Deputy General Director of Vinatex, the group would cooperate with foreign partners so as to learn and apply their advanced technologies in developing fashion goods supermarket network in Vietnam.
