The Ipanema Gisele Bundchen collection of footwear, inspired by Brazilian Indian people and environmental problems faced by them, are now sold in Malaysia.
Not only they have taken inspiration, they also supported 'Y Ikato Xingu' campaign conducted to preserve headwaters of the Xingu River and the forests that protect the flow of its water.
A certain part of the income generated from the sale will be utilized to support this campaign.
This collection is result of graphic workshop by Grendene launched in April last year.
It was launched to give opportunity to Kisedje Indians to create an exceptional creation for the Ipanema Gisele Bundchen Y Ikatu Xingu collection 2007.
In Malaysia, Gisele Bundchen brand is distributed by RSH Malaysia.
As Malaysia's weather is similar to that of Brazil, these sandals are more suitable to climate here.
