Valdese Weavers, a textiles manufacturer plans to invest $19.3 million over the period of next three years for an expansion in Burke County in North Carolina.
Valdese Weavers plans to acquire a 198,000-square-foot facility in Valdese to increase production and this will create 61 jobs.
Valdese Weavers supplies jacquard and multipurpose textiles for various residential and contract markets.
The One North Carolina Fund has provided financial assistance of $130,000 to Valdese to attract business projects to the state.
