Brandix hope to draw $1bn investment in Apparel City

Brandix, the largest apparel exporter from Sri Lanka is developing a vertically integrated apparel manufacturing park. The company expects to draw investment of US $1 billion within first five years.

Multinational Hayleys Group's third party logistics specialist Logiwiz will design, construct and manage a 20-acre central logistics hub for Brandix Apparel City at Atchyuthapuram in Andhra Pradesh and will provide a complete logistics solution.

The Brandix group produces exclusive casual trousers, inner and active wear, textiles, knitted fabrics, sewing and embroidery thread, accessories and hangers and also offer wet processing and finishing and fabric printing.

Brandix's dyeing plant is equipped with state-of-the-art machines for dyeing cotton, wool, cashmere, acrylic and sensitive blends of cotton and woolen fabrics.
