Wear-Dated offers smoother trade for retailers, online!

Wear-Dated Rewards for Life participants will now benefit from expanded options at the new WearDatedRewards.com website. Not only can retail salespeople completely manage their Rewards for Life account online, but if they are also enrolled in the Mohawk Rewards Plus program, they can now access their Mohawk account.

Furthermore, as part of the 2007 alignment between the Mohawk and Wear-Dated retail sales incentive programs, the retail sales person may also access and combine points from both programs at redemption, online.

A third phase of the alignment, involving the Karastan and Wear-Dated retail sales incentive programs, is scheduled for later in the year.

These options combined with the change in point structure mean that retail salespeople may now earn higher value rewards more easily than ever, particularly if they sell heavier-weight carpet made with Wear-Dated carpet fiber.

Indeed, the newly expanded Wear-Dated Rewards for Life program encourages retail salespeople to promote the value of higher-margin premium branded carpet to the consumer by rewarding salespeople based on the weight of the carpet sold.

Carpet weighing 35 ounces or less will earn 10 points per yard, while carpet weighing 36 ounces or more will receive 20 points per yard. All products made from Wear-Dated carpet fiber are eligible.

"Our goal is to support the retail salespeople in their effort to sell beautiful, heavier weight product to the consumer who is looking for superior performance, as well as beauty and comfort for her home," says Ben Jones, manager, Wear-Dated program.
