Spanish biggies to invest in MAS Fabric Park

Textprint S A and Dogi International Fabrics of Spain are investing to set up manufacturing plants in the MAS Fabric Park in Thulhiriya, Sri Lanka. This facility is expected to be operational by the end of this year.

Textprint S.A, signed an agreement with MAS Capital last week, to be involved in printing warp knitted fabrics while Dogi International will manufacture them.

The plants would supply fabrics to apparel manufacturers across the South Asian region, and also fulfill the requirement for synthetic fabric printing to local producers.

MAS Holdings the largest apparel manufacturers in Sri Lanka with an annual turnover of over US $700 million, is making efforts towards offering complete apparel solutions especially in the intimate and active ware segments.

MAS Holdings owns 28 manufacturing units and three design studios engaging around over 41,000 employees.
