International Segment: The International segment had segment operating income of $750 million for the most recent quarter, an increase of 0.3 percent, compared with $748 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2005. The international segment's operating income in the second quarter of fiscal 2006 was impacted by a non-recurring charge of $36 million to restructure our operations in the United Kingdom.
The International segment had segment-operating income of $1.417 billion for the first six months of fiscal 2006, an increase of 8.1 percent, compared with $1.311 billion for the similar period in fiscal 2005.
