Lakshmi Cotsyn to raise terry towel & bottom weight mfrg capacity

Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 15, 2007, has plans to further increase its Terry towel and bottom weight manufacturing capacity with a capital cost of Rs 275 crore and 14 MW captive power project at an additional capital expenditure of Rs 40 crore.
The increased capital expenditure would be financed through term loan under TUFS and Equity. The Company is targeting to complete this expansion plan by June 2008.
The company was set up to process 100% cotton & blended fabrics, with an installed capacity of 60 lacs meters per annum, which has enhanced to a figure of 180 lacs meters per annum in a time span of a decade.
