Nation's leading bed retailer Select Comfort announced that Rob and Amber Mariano (Survivor and The Amazing Race) joined the company to raise more than $400 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Twin Cities, by sharing a Sleep Number bed with 275 customers at the Mall of America.

Customers who received a bracelet for a suggested donation of $2 to Ronald McDonald House Charities had their pictures taken with Rob and Amber on a Sleep Number bed in the Sam Goody Central rotunda. Select Comfort matched all contributions for a total donation of $805.00 to the local charity. Select Comfort is the "Official Bed Provider" for Ronald McDonald House Charities and has given more than 3,000 Sleep Number beds to the 150 Ronald McDonald Houses in the United States.

"Amber and I were very happy to be in Minneapolis with Select Comfort to help raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities," said Mariano, whose Sleep Number is 40. "Ronald McDonald House and Select Comfort work together to provide families with a more restful night's sleep under very stressful conditions, and I am happy to support this charitable partnership."

A Sleep Number is a number between zero and 100 that represents each person's ideal combination of mattress comfort, firmness and support on a Sleep Number bed. The Sleep Number bed features two air chambers that can be adjusted via a hand-held remote control, allowing each individual to find their Sleep Number and to choose the idealfirmness of their side of the mattress, without affecting their partner's choice.
