Home furnisher Ethan Allen launches new store in Virginia Beach

Home textile products maker Ethan Allen celebrates the grand opening of a new 25,000 square foot store at 4677 Columbus Street in the Virginia Beach Town Center.
The new store is double the size of the former store, with nearly 20,000 square feet of display area, and provides one-stop shopping convenience with the latest furniture, fabrics and decorative accessories displayed in inspirational casual and formal lifestyle settings.
The Crawford family's third-generation, family owned and locally operated business has been serving the Virginia Beach community for nearly fifty years. "They are happy to be among the first businesses involved in the downtown revitalization" said Bert Crawford. The Crawford family also owns and operates the Ethan Allen store at 33032-I Richmond Road in Williamsburg.

The tools in the store are designed to help the consumer envision their own interiors. Using an online room planning program, clients can see their furniture arrangement before making a purchase. Yet another program allows clients to view their fabric of choice on any sofa, chair or ottoman.
