Alps to inaugurate compact yarn manufacturing facility, Haridwar

Alps Industries Ltd has informed that the implementation of the Company's new high quality compact yarn manufacturing facility at Haridwar is now complete.
The unit is scheduled to be inaugurated on December 02, 2007 for commercial production. The unit has been set up with 66,000 spindles with a capacity of 58 tons per day of cotton and blended yarn.
With this unit, the Company will be able to cater to the requirements of the premium segment of yarn market.
The unit has been set up within the estimated total project outlay of Rs 330.00 crores with no cost and time overrun.
