Reliance Industries Ltd, one of the pioneering business enterprises based in India is investigating possibilities to directly sell its goods in US and European markets.

Official sources confirmed to Fibre2fashion that Reliance group has kept its options open, which involve either coming up with exclusive retail outlets or even trading goods through dealers.

Currently, the company is transacting its business in international markets through traders. Goods sold to US by the company largely include approximately 4-5 tons of petrol and a small quantity of jet fuel.

Moreover, Reliance is presently running an export oriented refinery in Western India whose production capacity is 6,60,000 barrel per day and it is envisaging setting up another adjoining plant to boost the average production to cross over 1.2 million barrel per day making this Reliance plant the biggest such in the world.
