Fiber-Line operations in Hickory, North Carolina are estimated to grow by 50% within the next 3 years. Included in the plan are the addition of new employees and a 60000 square foot (5575 sq meters) expansion.

The Catawba county board of commissioners approved $4.5 million in industrial revenue bonds for Fiber-Line this week that will assist in the growth and development.

Activities for expansion and additional employees are estimated to start in 2008.

Recognizing a need for coated and impregnated fibers, Fiber-Line was established in 1987 to produce high quality and cost-effective products for the fiber-optic and wire and cable industries.

In an ongoing effort to add performance to high performance yarns, Fiber-Line conducts research and development using innovative chemistry and fiber processing. The combination of the two yields a product that is easy to use in applications and at the same time solves problems for you the customer.

Fiber-Line is committed to producing the highest-quality products, which exceed your expectations consistently and economically. This is achieved through helping our customers define their needs, working with approved suppliers, and emphasizing continuous improvement in manufacturing.
