Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company Ltd has informed that the Company's Textile Manufacturing Unit at Ranjangaon will commence partial commercial production with effect from January 01, 2008.
In 1879, Bombay was next only to New Orleans as the world's largest cotton port. It was at this time that Nowrosjee Wadia set his sights on India's mushrooming textile industry.
