DuPont, a company having scientific orientations, is more than just ready to usher its latest Sorona polymer. This invention is expected to impart distinctive features to both fibre and fabric.
The company aims to introduce a rage in fashion wear by fabricating Sorona into a range of products.
Sorona will also enter into marketing of stain-resistant carpets. This kind of polymer having stretch recovering characteristics and adaptable to bright color dying will find immense commercial markets.
The possibility of Sorona polymer application to a variety of personal care products with green label is still being explored and simultaneously, the company is researching on another bio-material called Ceranol, which can be applied for a variety of engineering polymers and automotive products.
