Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd, an ONGC Group Company, held a Chemical & Catalyst Vendor Meet to demystify and facilitate clear understanding of Procurement Procedures, Procurement Cycle, Integrity Pact, Common reasons for rejection of bids, common mistakes made by bidders and also emerging technology-supported procedures like E-auction, E-procurement & ERP.
The one-day Vendor Meet was held in MRPL premises and attended by prominent Chemical Suppliers from all over India.
From MRPL, S/Shri P P Upadhya, Sr GM(TS), R R C Chichgar, Sr GM(Ops), K.S.Koppalkar, GMi/c(Materials), Rajan Bhandari GM (Vigilance) etc participated and clarified the entire cycle of requirement to award of tender to policing in an effort to sensitise the market and establish transparency in business processes in MRPL.
