On October 5th,One stop Home Furnishings Resource Ethan Allen Interiors Inc celebrates the opening of a new store located at 4070 28th Street, South East in Kentwood, Michigan with a reception and silent auction from 6:00pm to 9:00pm to benefit the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan.
This new 20,000 square foot store provides more display area than the former Grand Rapids location. Ethan Allen acquired the four stores formerly owned by the DeKorne family in Grand Rapids (which was relocated to the new location in Kentwood), Kalamazoo, Lansing and Traverse City. The company also owns stores in Auburn Hills, Ann Arbor, Birmingham, Saginaw, Sterling Heights, and Novi.
The new store in Kenwood is one of the first of the new Ethan Allen prototype stores. The new showrooms are flooded with natural light from unique pyramid-style skylights. These skylights highlight the designs of the products and showcase the true colors of the materials in a spacious Design Center where Design Consultants present selections of fabrics and wallpaper and help customers find stylish solutions to their decoration challenges.
'Ethan Allen has established itself as a leader in style and decorating,' explains Farooq Kathwari, Chairman and CEO of Ethan Allen Inc 'From the contemporary to the traditional, and everything in between, they are committed to providing their clients with the best in style, value, and service. Their new stores epitomize their efforts.'
Mr. Kathwari also speaks to Aquinas College students and World Affairs Council of Western Michigan's members on Wednesday, October 5th at 1:30 PM in Wege Hall on the Aquinas campus.
