Solutia to raise nylon industrial fiber price from Oct 15

Carpet fiber maker Solutia announces nylon industrial fiber price increases. Effective October 15, 2005, Solutia Inc will implement up to a 10 percent price increase on all industrial and airbag grade fiber, from 420 denier through 1890 denier, as well as air jet textured products, from 500 to 2900 denier.
Michael Colella, Commercial Director, Solutia Nylon Industrial Fibers informed that sustained increases in both raw material and energy costs has required us to implement this price increase.
