The 103-year-old retailer has proudly served Mississippi since 1924 and the new store will contribute approximately 170 jobs to the city's economy. JCPenney at Southaven Towne Center will operate Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Fall Store Openings
The Southaven store is one of 10 new JCPenney department stores opening this fall. On October 7, the company is also celebrating openings in Jonesboro, Ark.; Fayetteville, Ga.; Green Bay, Wis.; Columbia, S. C.; North Tampa, Fla.; and Katy, Texas. On November 5, three additional stores will open in Goodyear, Ariz.; Friendswood, Texas; and Copley, Ohio.
