Aditya Birla Nuvo commences production at jagdishpur plant

With reference to the earlier announcement dated June 06, 2008 regarding shutdown of Fertiliser plant due to fire on Synthesis Gas Compressor Turbine, Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd has now informed that the Company's Fertiliser plant at Jagdishpur has resumed production on June 12, 2008 and is in normal operation now.
Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd (erstwhile Indian Rayon and Industries Ltd) is a diversified conglomerate within Aditya Birla Group, with a consolidated turnover of Rs.121.34 billion for FY 2007-08.
