Textile and man-made fiber measuring and testing equipment provider Herbert Stein Co GmbH (TEXTECHNO) is going to participate in ITMA ASIA 2005 in October. TEXTECHNO's Booth No. is Booth 6D-44, Hall 6. The company will exhibit all major instruments in the textile machinery exhibition.
The event, to be held from 17 to 21 October, is expected to attract some 30,000 international visitors, including key government and textile association officials, buyers, dealers and agents from more than 30 countries; the majority from Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific. This will be one of the biggest groups of international visitors to Singapore.
ITMA ASIA 2005, the region's leading textile machinery exhibition, will assume added significance this year following the abolition of global textile quotas. Over 800 exhibitors from 33 economies have confirmed their participation.
German company TEXTECHNO was founded as an enterprise for research and development in the field of textile testing technology by Herbert Stein in 1949. Starting from these origins, TEXTECHNO today manufactures a broad variety of testing equipment for the textile- and chemical fibre industry and is one of the market leaders in this field.
The Statigraph, the first instrument developed by Textechno for tensile testing of yarns, was introduced to the public in the fifties at the Textile Conference in Miltenberg, Germany. Because of its compact design as well as its flexible and simple to operate controls, it found immediate interest in the textile and chemical fibre industry.
