Routine schedule is underway after Wednesday's violent encounter between workers and security persons at Sinha Textile Mills at Kanchpur in Narayangunj. However, workers are reeling under the impact of the violent incidents that shook the entire Bangladesh textile and garment industry, early this week.
Entire Sinha textile complex was cordoned off, by para-military BDR and policemen who were posted to control mobs on the prowl.
Though the workers resumed duty day before yesterday following the request of mill owners, unrest prevails around the mill area.
Senior officials at Sinha Textile Mills Ltd allowed workers to enter the premises only after frisking them at the mill gate. However, few workers abstained work as expected, they said.
