So-called intelligent curtains and upholstery textiles have been introduced by ADO (Germany) Textile Company.
These three types of textiles have qualities that fight against odours, bacteria, allergens and electro-pollution. The first type of the textiles is ActiBreeze fabric manufactured as anti-odour and working on a principle of photo-catalytic process.
This principle is instrumental in removing nicotine, benzene, formaldehyde and number of so-called multi-pathogens like viruses, mites or bacteria from the room. Since ActiBreeze fabrics are non-flammable, they meet also stringent anti-fire regulations.
The second group of the fabrics is BioProtect. They are full of silver ions, which eliminate the metabolism of unsafe microorganisms. These fabrics are also incapable of burning and eliminate pathogens with odours.
The third type is eProtect fabric designed to fight electro-pollution. They contain in-woven steel threads screening radiation piercing flats or offices through the windows. All the three groups of fabrics can be washed in machines without reducing the efficiency of their properties.
