Polymer Group Inc division Chicopee Inc introduced “Power Pockets” that improve fabric strength and particle pick up of its Stretch N' Dust cloths for the janitorial services industry.
The company debuted line extensions to its Stretch N' Dust and Masslinn product families, as well as new packaging for its DuraWipe towels, at the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA)/Interclean show here, October 18-21.
Scott Tracey, vice president, sales and marketing, Chicopee stated that as more wiping and dusting products claim similar performance traits, their strategy is to set their category-leading brands apart by offering customers new packaging options and engineered fabrics that clean better.
Stretch N' Dust products will now feature what the company is calling “Power Pockets,” the tiny pouches that come to the surface of the towel when the fabric stretches. The pockets grab and hold onto dust particles, enhancing dirt pick up, which helps sanitation and janitorial users reduce costs because fewer towels need to be used, the company said.
Larry Archer, Group Marketing Director Chicopee has set the standard in the industry with their dusting towels. Other companies offer look-alike products that match the yellow color but can't match their performance. Masslinn and Stretch N' Dust products have a lower cost in use because they stay in service longer, removing dust and particles from the indoor environment.
