Valley, Alabama based Fairview towel plant owned by WestPoint Home announced plans to shut by mid-January.
Currently, the mill employs 300 workers and all would be affected.
The New York and West Point, Georgia based company, said closure will take place between December 30, 2005 and January 13, 2006, informed an official of the company.
