The A1 Team Malaysia declared that they will attempt to create one of the world's biggest fan clubs by giving away one free team teeshirt to every spectator who goes through the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) turnstiles this coming Sunday, 20th November 2005, for the A1 Grand Prix of Nations - Malaysia.

This is indeed good news for the fans of the team in Malaysia as they have plenty to cheer for as the team is determined to wrest a podium spot or two this round at their home track.

The whole team will be at "Souled Out", a favourite Kuala Lumpur nightspot in Mount Kiara, from 6pm to 10pm tonight (Monday, 14th Nov) with their chassis number 41 car on display.

The public are invited to meet the drivers, Alex Yoong and Fairuz Fauzy as well as the Malaysian and other technical team members if they have any questions to ask or want autographs signed.

Tomorrow, the team will conduct start up and short runs at the Berjaya Times Square both in Bukit Bintang (10am to 2pm) with Alex in attendance and at One-Utama complex in TTDI (4pm to 8pm) with Fairuz in attendance.

A1 Team (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian registered company whose purpose it is to compete in the A1 Grand Prix World Cup of Motorsport. A1 Team Malaysia will compete at all the events in the schedule for the glory of the nation.

The team is proud to be able to state that it has recruited its own team members, rather than contract in theservices of established racing teams, and has embarked upon a significant development programme for Malaysian drivers, mechanics, engineers and marketing suport staff.
