A new cargo service connecting Bangladesh capital Dhaka and Chinese city Kunming will boost trade and tourism, says Chinese Eastern Airlines (CEA).
It will now be easy to transport computers, textile accessories, electronic goods, fabrics and fruits, said country Manager of CEA Ben Lee.
He said that cargoes so far, had to travel via Hong Kong consuming four precious hours from Dhaka, but with the introduction of new route the travel time will be cut by two hours.
Besides, the new route will boost the tourism between the two countries, he added.
A major government enterprise of China, CEA, logged in profits worth US $125 million US dollars during 2004-05.
