New Bhopal Textile Mill of the National Textile Corporation will be remodelled with the setting up of latest machines at a cost of Rs 40 crores.
At least 2000 workers directly and 4000 indirectly will be benefited by these modern machines, informed NTC Chairman and Managing Director, K Ravindra Pillai.
For the renovation of the New Bhopal Textile Mill and Burhanpur Tapti Textile Mill, state government and the NTC had entered into an agreement last month.
Pillai also added that the annual business of Bhopal mill would rise to Rs 45 crores from Rs 13 crores and the state would generate annual revenue of Rs 2 to 3 crores.
