Linen management solutions provider Angelica will reorganize management, parsing its 32 plants into 10 market areas, with each plant reporting to a market VP.
These executives will be responsible for all sales, service, and plant operations in their markets.
This structure replaces the typical laundry chain model in which customer relationships are managed at the plant level, according to a company press release.
Resources will be realigned to maximize service to the customer and increase plant efficiency, which will help boost service and satisfaction, and thereby improve revenue growth.
Developed by Dave Van Vliet, President and COO, and his senior leadership team, the move is part of Angelica's "cultural shift from a plant-centric to a customer-centric business model," Chairman Steve O'Hara said.
G&K Services has added David Larson to its management team as acquisitions VP.
Larson was most recently VP of global planning and analysis with Lawson Software, a specialist in accounting, human resources, healthcare, distribution, and materials management.
Before his promotion to that position, he was involved in numerous acquisitions as Lawson's corporate development director.
"G&K continues to invest in strengthening their management team to achieve long-term growth initiatives," said Richard Marcantonio, President and CEO.
"David has extensive experience in corporate development and acquisitions, a key strategic growth driver of the company."
