Country's garment companies are facing severe manpower shortage and to come out of this situation garment producers are planning to start training centers in distant area.
According to Association of Garment – Textile & Embroidery – Knitting (Agtek), shortage of manpower in first quarter is usual but this year it lasted till July.
As garment companies are expanding in industrial zones and about to enter World Trade Organisation (WTO), there will be more job opportunities that would attract migrants to find job in their hometowns, Nguyen Ngoc Thuy, Director of Tan Phu Cuong Company stated.
