94 percent textile workers from 17000 were covered under this wage settlement and therefore, it has been finished without any disturbance or strike.
Sactwu, which is affiliated to Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) represents 87 percent of all bargaining unit employees in the textile industry.
Due to these wage settlements, 33 miilion rand will be infused into economy, Sactwu stated.
