Ready made garment (RMG) workers are likely to agitate again as several garment workers are coming out on the road and damaging public and private properties.
Garment workers are agitated because commitments made to them are not yet fulfilled by the owners.
Workers and owners are unable to reach an agreement on issues of basic salary and benefits.
There is a need to set up Wage commission and representatives from both the sides should discuss the issue with open mind.
This situation should be sorted out soon in unison from both workers and owners sides as industry had to incur heavy loss due to the strife in May.
