Government had organized meetings behind closed doors with Ramatex textile and ignored burning issues of labour, alleged National Union of Namibian Workers (NUNW).
NUNW Secretary General Evilastus Kaaronda approached Prime Minister Nahas Angula and asked for proper treatment of Ramatex issue and also demanded clarification of meeting with Ramatex.
He also asked the reason why workers were not included in meeting and which issues were discussed during the meeting.
Workers of Ramatex textile have accused that company was planning to close its facilities and they would be unemployed for indefinite period of time.
