Cambodia’s trade volume with member nations of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) rose to $22.92 billion in the first eight months this year—a 17.2-per cent increase compared to $19.55 billion during the same period last year, according to the general department of customs and excise.The country exported products worth $6.05 billion to fellow RCEP members—a 15-per cent rise year on year (YoY). Imports from RCEP nations were worth $16.87 billion—up by 18 per cent YoY.
Trade with RCEP nations accounted for 62 per cent of the country’s total trade volume.
