China's textile & garment exports up 9.9% in Jan-Nov '20

The value of exports of textiles and garments from China increased 9.9 per cent year-on-year to $265.2 billion in the first eleven months of the current year, according to the data released by the ministry of industry and information technology (MIIT). Both textiles and garment exports registered growth in the month of November, the data showed.

During January-November 2020, exports of textiles segment recorded a sharp 31 per cent year-on-year growth to $141.6 billion. On the other hand, garment exports fell 7.2 per cent to $123.6 billion.

In November, textile exports increased 22.2 per cent year-on-year to $12 billion, while apparel exports rose 6.9 per cent to $12.6 billion.
