In the first five months of 2023, Germany exported goods to the total value of €658.6 billion, which rose by 3.5 per cent compared with January to May 2022, Destatis said in a press release.
Accounting for a 9.8 per cent share in total exports, the US continued to be Germany’s most important trading partner in terms of exports, followed by France at 7.6 per cent, the Netherlands at 7.3 per cent, and China at 6.2 per cent.
