India-South Korea trade grew by 40 per cent to $23.7 billion in 2021, according to Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). In 2020, trade between the two sides was worth $16.9 billion. The 2021 figure was the highest-ever trade volume between the two countries, a news agency reported.

As per KOTRA, Korea imported goods worth $8.06 billion from India in 2021. During the year, all major imported items from India witnessed a significant increase.
