Chinese textile & clothing exports loose steam in Nov

China's textile and apparel exports registered US $20.392 billion in November 2011, a rise of 3.8 percent from the previous month and 7.2 percent year on year.

Between January and November 2011, textile and apparel exports achieved $226.156 billion, up 21.2 year on year.

Exports of yarn, fabrics and other textile products reached $8.035 billion in November, a growth 7.9 percent month on month and 13.6 percent year on year.

On the other hand, shipments of clothing and accessories touched $12.357 billion, up 1.3 percent from the previous month and 3.45 percent year on year.

In the first eleven months of 2011, exports of yarn, fabrics and other textile products accumulated to $86.373 billion from January to November 2011, up 24 percent year on year.

In the same period, exports of clothing and accessories stood at $139.782 billion, an increase of 19.5 percent year on year.
