China's textile & apparel exports remain flat in June

Textile and garment exports from China were worth about US$ 22.888 billion in June 2012, with the year-on-year growth remaining essentially flat.
 
However, the month-on-month growth was about 4.83 percent, according to the latest data from General Administration of Customs.
 
Yarn and fabric exports from China fetched US$ 8.408 billion in June, showing an increase of 0.59 percent year-on-year, but a decline of 8.88 percent on a month-on-month basis.
 
Apparel and clothing accessories exports earned US$ 14.48 billion, a decline of 0.41 percent year-on-year, but an increase of 14.86 percent compared to the previous month.
 
During the first six months of 2012, China’s total textile and apparel exports registered US$ 113.523 billion, posting a slight increase of 1.61 percent year-on-year.
