China's textiles & apparel exports rise marginally in Nov

Textiles and apparel exports from China showed a slight increase in November 2012, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs.
 
As per the statistics, China’s total textiles and apparel exports fetched US$ 20.97 billion during the month, showing a year-on-year rise of 2.9 percent. Of which, the exports of textiles increased by 1 percent y-o-y to US$ 8.11 billion, while exports of garments rose by 4.1 percent y-o-y to US$ 12.86 billion.
 
From January to November this year, China’s total textiles and clothing exports grew to US$ 230.83 billion, registering an increase of 2.1 percent year-on-year. Of which, the exports of textiles grew slightly to US$ 87.21 billion, while exports of apparels rose by 2.8 percent year-on-year to US$ 143.62 billion.
